My first wave of chemotherapy began Monday, 10/18.
However, my hair didn't come loose until about two weeks later.
I ignored the falling strands for about 3 more days, but eventually
got to a point where I was trailing hair like a shedding siberian
husky on a 100 degree summer day.
One night, on 11/3, I had to do it. I plucked it all out, hair by hair
(including my beard). I did stop to take a few pictures (taken by myself,
so please forgive the quality):
Notice the "baby fuzz" hair that I was left with.
This light-blonde hair would not pull out, and it had
to be sheered in order to get rid of the 80-yaer-old man
look you see here.
